Saw where you posted same question over in AL.

Have you checked eBay?
Saw a bunch of lead molds on there a couple of weeks ago.

God Bless you.

you can buy used ones on ebay. just search for "egg sinker mold".

The toughest part about making egg sinkers is timing when to pull the pin out. To soon and the lead collapses and to late and the pin doesn't pull out. Best part is you can always re-melt the lead to make another pour. try and start with the cleanest lead you can, although used tire weights will work if worst comes to worst.

if your making sliding weights, don't use the pull pin supplied with the mold. Get you an 1/8" dia. rod and use that for the holes. I had my weights guy custom pour me some with the 1/8" for the plastic no tangle cord. I was having to drill out the hole of the standard fishing weights for the cord to fit.

The molds come in different configurations. Most all come with various sizes in one mold and not a bunch of single size.

You can also buy blank molds and have a machine shop machine out the shape you want.

I'm in Auburn right now. Yea I was wondering about the hole in the middle, I was just going to drill it out. I have access to a ton of tire weights, how much will it affect the weight if I use that versus a clean block of lead?

it won't effect the weight, lead is lead. It will mostly impact working with the lead.

As long as its soft lead you will not have a problem. I use our old tire weights from the shop.
