Quick Coastal Hunt

Postby Alex » Fri Dec 04, 2009 11:52 am

Made a hunt this morning along the coast. Didn't see many birds but was able to trick a few and get some dog work. Hopefully this front coming next week will get a few more down for us.

Good lookin birds and a better lookin dog. I have a choc female and I like watching her work as much as killing the birds.

Alex, that is a successful costal hunt, how has it been going? Season has been slow in Point A La Hache. We need to get together and hunt some redheads on the coast, know a spot. Below is a pic of my dog with our best hunt this season. This is her first year of hunting. Good luck the rest of the season.

Good to hear from you Matt. Been going good , working in venice now doing guided fishing trips. I have a friend with a lease in Reggio and its been slow for them to. Give me a call. I would definitely be interested in shooting some redheads. I know where a bunch of bluebills are to. Dog looks great.

Nice job Alex. You are now ahead of 91% of Coastal duck hunters by killing that many birds!
