Postby spent21 » Thu Nov 15, 2001 2:49 pm

i went duck hunting for the first time last season and i'm hooked. i've GOT to have a new pair of waders (twas borrowing another guys). i really like the rocky's. do any of you know where i can get a nice neoprene/brushtuff set? the rocky outlet closed in west point so i'm forced to look elsewhere.
thanx in advance

Well I do know that you can order them from Cabela's or Herters. I also see that you are from the Kosciusko area and Leonard's has them at $10 more than what Cabela's has them. I also figure that by the time that you pay for shipping and handling you will have not saved any money.

If you want the Rocky's, get the number for the Rocky company off the internet and give them a call. They will tell you where you can call to order the waders.

I called last year and they gave me the name of some store up north that sold them to me for about 40 to 50 dollars cheaper than I found them anywhere in Jackson.

yeah, i've been watching e-bay, but the guy only has size 9s. BUT my dad is a firearms dealer, and alot of the companys carry hunting supplies. i got a set of lacrosse 1000 brush tuffs for 175(the 1200s were the same price, but i didn't think i needed that much insulation). i had to go to philadelphia co-op to try a set on to see what size and they were 260 there. I tried on a pair at Hunters Hollow in Oxford. They were pretty comfortable. Since GC likes his, I may get me a pair. I would like to know about the bottom, though. Does it retain mud more than the regular tractor tread on most other waders like LaCross?
