What would you do with this call????
What would you do with this call????
Ryan at Fowl Attitude calls made this beautiful call for me. It is from a piece of Mesquite wood from out land in South Texas. The land that I grew up hunting and love. I want to thank Ryan for doing this, it truly means a lot, my Uncle loved that piece of land and taught me how to appreciate the land during the many years we spent on it. The call is absolutly beautiful and sounds even better than it looks.. So my question is Do I use it, or just Display it??
What say you?
What say you?

A call is a tool. That one just happens to carry a ton of good karma for you and your family. It'd be a crime not to hunt it.
Never assume.

Calls were made to blow, it looses none of its emotional value to you hunting with it, if anything I would worry bout not using it to hunt.
Damn, i thought I had that one
Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

blow the guts out of it! Stuff means more when it's got a little wear and tear on it

+1
30 years from now when it's sitting on a shelf with a few "wear" marks, it will have far more value, than if it's shinny and new. And you can tell your grankids about that old hunting land in TX!
Great looking call!
God Bless you
Make time to PRAY ! God has given us so much. Thank him.
Re: What would you do with this call????
The call will only gain more personal value when you put it to use and start working ducks with it. Make sure your lanyard has double loops so you don't go losing the insert.
BTW, very nice looking call.

I agree. It would mean more to me if I used it than to look at it on the shelf.

I think you should send it to me and I can use it and it will have more value........
Really, nice call, use it and then pass it on down.

use it.
Surely the longer a man duck hunts the wealthier he becomes in experience,in reminiscence,in love of nature,if he goes out with the harvest of a quiet eye, free from the plague of himself

My philosophy on guns, duck calls and Ford trucks is all the same: Use it.
