Slow start for us next to Claypool. Hearing of of one pit nw of there that were killing a few. I knew going into last week that it was going to be slow. I was on the farm all week prior to season and hardly saw a duck.

Slow in some places and short on Mallards, but we didn't have a problem with the Teal, Wigeon, Gadwalls, Pintails and Specks. It can only get better IMO.

Checked all my fields and reservoir this afternoon and saw ducks on all water. It is looking up.
