LSU's first series they broke the huddle w/ 12 men and snapped the ball just as the 12th man made it to the sideline...not a big deal but NO FLAG. The db diving into the endzone was BEING TOUCHED by the LSU defender. Look at it...pathetic. You really think Hodge wasn't pushed out of bounds on the TD that was called back?...look again. Pathetic officiating.

LSU could not put it away....they also didn't lead in total offense, rushing, first downs, etc and POINTS..........refs had five blown calls.....counting the 1 sec the ref left on the clock...............Take away who the two teams were and what was at stake..............The officiating has horrendous....every SEC school should be concerned if they are not Bama,Fl or LSU..........and play in SEC............Tigahs can blame it all on Miles but without the REfs your loss margin would have been larger by at least 14 points.

Makes one also wonder because if LSU won, there would have been 3 SEC BCS teams....millions of $$$ were lost because Rebs won....with correct officiatiing this game would not have even been close......

I think you answered your own question. We've all seen the Florida/Ark game with the phantom yard and the ridiculous personal foul which ended up in a suspended ref crew but it just keeps happening. Wouldn't be surprised if this is something coming from the commisioners office itself Doesn't half of the SEC bowl money go into their budget to distribute/use as they wish? Just saying.

you dayum right it cost the sec millions of dollars. in fact around 28 million so far.... 30 plus mill for a bcs to at best a 3 mill bowl.... and it was worth every penny!!!!

Ole Miss definitley deserved to win...but if LSU would have made the FG it would have been HOUSTON NUTT feeling the heat b/c he went for two too early in the game when it was 17-15....if he would have went for one instead the late FG discussion is a moot point!!!

Only problem was, the block in the back was on the same play. The ole miss player put his hand on Jefferson's back and got a block in the back flag. Took it back either 25 or 30 yards.
