COASTAL LA DUCKHUNTING
COASTAL LA DUCKHUNTING
OPENING WEEKEND in Delacroix Island- This past weekend was a total success in the Reggio, Delacroix and Hopedale marshes down in St. Bernard Parish. Nearly everyone I know had limits of teal, gray ducks, wigeon, mottle ducks and a few pintail. The marsh is full of aquatic vegetation for the birds to feed on. we even had good catches of trout and reds right by the duck blinds. The birds are still not as thick as they usually get, but it's still early. Looking forward to this weekends hunts. My customers are pretty pumped. Hope everyone has a good season.
