what kind of anchors?????

'Can't recommend what you should do.....'would depend on several things;<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>Make and model of decoy....'Ace' anchors work best on decoys with certain types of keels....and not at all, on others (like Herter's)<LI>Economics<LI>Hunting terrain....depth(s) of water (length of line, required)<LI>How much weight is needed (for wind/water current, size/type of decoy, type of keel(weighted/aqua/none), prop wash, fluctuating water levels)<LI>Water quality.....lotta folks won't use black line in clear water....some use 40#-60# monofiliment</UL>It may just be a matter of what works best in your particular situation.....'trial and error'.

For river hunting (1-6 dozen weighted keel magnums) I molded some 10oz strap anchors on 16' 'tarred' braided nylon lines.

For field hunting (leaving 2500 decoys out all season) we used 3oz plastic 'Dixie' cups and filled'em with 1:2 ratio of cement and sand with a fence staple in the top.....18" nylon cord. Don't worry about wrappin' these up.

I must apologize for my misinformation. Heard the Benny rumor from a friend of mine who met him at an outdoor show. He claimed he designed the anchors to my friend. Carl, I appreciate the e-mail setting me straight on the facts. I will now soon own some of your anchors and are familiar with them.
