MS Delta Regional & MS State Duck Calling Contest

Just a reminder that this Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Drew, MS we will have the MS Delta Regional and MS State Duck Calling Contests held in conjunction with the Delta Wings Waterfowl Festival.

The MS Delta Regional Contest begins at 1 pm and the MS Delta State Contest will start soon after.

Additionally, there will be a junior, intermidiate, two man meat calling, snow and canadian goose calling contests. Please see www.deltawingsfestival.com for more information on times.

Please contact Ronnie Raggio at 601-201-2659 for more information on the sanctioned contests (MS Delta Regional and MS State Duck Calling Contests)

Please contact Greg Hood with Southern Game Calls in Clarksdale, MS for all other contest information.

Guys, this is going to be a great event! Please make sure that you bring you whole family. There will be plenty for everyone to do.

How long will this deal last into the day?
When it come's to duck calling and duck killing its the indian not the arrow!

We are hoping that it will finished around then. The Delta Waterfowl Banquet social will start at 5p.m. so you can just go straight there from the festival.

I don't know about the duck calling but I have a gumbo team an we gona be whipping up a mean batch of duck gumbeaux.

If anyone is interested in hotel rooms I talked with the econo lodge today and they said they have a duck hunter special of around $42 if you ask for it as a duck hunter. I will know more about it and I will post up as soon as I know what others will do. It is Delta States homecoming this weekend so I don't know how long the rooms will last.

MSDucker Moose, aka Josh Raggio, won the State competition and Tyler Merrit won the Regional as told by Champcaller.
