I've signed up for one. I recently switched from a Blackberry from Cellular South to an iphone at AT&T. Man, I loved that iphone! But after 2 weeks, it was obvious that AT&T had very poor coverage in Mississippi, so I switched back to Cellular Scout and my trusty Blackberry.

Hopefully the HTC "Hero" can live up to its hype, although I doubt it will be a good as the iphone.

Where do you live that you were having coverage issues with your iPhone? The only place I have found to have issues with my AT&T coverage is at Willow Break.

I've not had much problems with AT&T coverage. Quailty sometimes lacks. I also find the more I drink the harder it is for my wife to "get through to me"

I had major coverage issues with AT&T as compared to what I experienced with CS. I live in Oxford, in the city limits, and had some trouble even getting the signal at home, especially on football weekends. I did not have that problem with CS.

At my duck camp near Belzoni, I got "no service" from AT&T, but got 3 bars signal from CS at my camp. I found this to be true in many places in the Delta. It looks like if you are close to an interstate Hwy things are good, but when you stray off the beaten path....good luck. I found this to be true in S. Mississippi too.

I also had problems with what AT&T told me my price would be and what they actually charged me. I bundled the AT&T Iphone plan with my home phone, DSL and Directv. The bundle did not work, in fact, my DSL cost and home phone line increased in cost considerably and now I am having a devil of a time trying to get AT&T to change everything back. You have to call each party of the bundle to get resolution and two of them refuse to return me to where I was before since I changed the bundle. The rates that AT&T charged me were 30% more than what the sales rep told me, after they analyzed my CS bill. They told me my monthly bill would be only $6 more that the full, unlimited plan I had with CS. This turned out to not be true. And with all of that, you end up with poor coverage and the headaches of dealing with AT&T plus the fact that CS's rates are much cheaper than AT&T for better service.

Having said all of that, I know many people who are very happy with AT&T. (their employer must pay their cell phone bill).

As for me, yeah, I can't wait to get the Hero! Meanwhile I am still trying to get somebody on the phone at AT&T who will return me to the bundle plan I had for 2 years.

Good luck with AT&T. They have the worst customer service of anybody I have ever dealt with. It is unbelievable the crap you have to go through them to make simple changes and then it takes a month or two to straighten out what they didn't do right.

Hands down CS is has the best phone coverage for MS. Of the places I've been, I can only think of a handful of times where I had poor reception in MS. The rates are nearly half of what the competition offers for a very decent plan.

Here's my math, AT&T has the iphone with text, data (email, internet ect) and phone plan. 100+ a month

CS- blackberry- text, data plan and phone plan 49.99 a month.

My little blackberry does me just fine. The iphone is great for internet browsing but lacks in ease of operation with email and such imo.

Also, CS is bringing out a new all inclusive plan this week. I believe its unlimited nationwide calling, texting, and data for $80.
