Madison guys

Postby Up2Early » Thu Oct 29, 2009 9:01 am

Anybody have a 16'-20' trailer I could use to haul some old fence sections to the dump?

Thanks.

haha I just did exactly the same thing... borrowed a trailer from a buddy but he's already dead-headed it back outta town. Are you taking it one of the local landfills?

I think there's several sections that are still together. My brother has been doing the work at my mom's house so I'm not sure exactly what he's got over there. He replaced about 200' of fence and I know it's all pine fence boards with the dog-ear tops. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow if the rain doesn't float them all away.

That was the plan. The landfill in Canton charges $24 for each load up to one ton with a minimum of $18/load. My trailer is only a 5x8 which would mean 5-6 loads, so the thought was to get a bigger trailer and get it all in one load.

wish I had checked them I took to madison south fill and they charged a flat $33 for 16 foot trailer. I took two loads of a 10 X 14 shed and bunch of fence panels and they wont pull off.

Looks like we've got 20-25 panels that are 6-8' long each. Standard 6' fencing. If you're interested in picking some up, give me a PM, but do it quick!
