ACE anchors

Postby Wingman » Wed Nov 14, 2001 11:08 am

There has been some discussion as of late on this board about anchors. I will say that I have used them all, the big scoops, the lead straps, gigantic bolts and nuts...whatever. But I got some new dekes this year and decided to get some ACE. I found ACE's website at www.ace-decoy-anchors.com and ordered 4 dozen of the 4 oz. I sent an email to them, thanking them for putting that Bible verse on their page, Philippians 1:21, I think. I get an email back this morning, from Carl Marascalco(sp?) thanking me for the order and he threw in an extra dozen at no charge! Now I know some of you have gripes with ex-members of this board, but if you are holding anything against ACE because of that, then don't. We all mess up and we all do stupid things, but ACE anchors seems to be a fine bunch of guys and THEY ARE MISSISSIPPI MADE! ACE decoy anchors, Holcomb, MS. Now let's get out there and support our Mississippi brothers. We have several hunting products that come out of Mississippi. Mossy Oak, 'Ole Man Treestands, Wiley Duck calls, Primos game calls and I'm probably forgetting a ton of others. Y'all boys have a goodun' and get ready for 12/1.

When you buy a dozen ace anchors do they come with a dozen rubber straps and chord or is that separate? May be gettin some for my Dad as a Christmas present...only problem is the anchors would be more valuable than our old decoys.

a fine anchor system, one of the best i've used. carl and them boys in holcomb have been good to the tupelo du chapter, would say they are the best on the market. spend your ms dollars in ms.

Add Southern Game Calls to that list. Those are some nice calls.

**SPAM ON**

These are all great Mississippi products which have "hit the big time" in mass market potential. Let's not forget the little guys who are still working out of the garage-shop.

**SPAM OFF**

Seriously, Mississippi is the home state of many GREAT hunting products sold and used around the world. We should definitely be proud.

Make mine Mississippi!

I found the "How to make a duck call" tutorial series of pictures on jstanard's duck call website (Mississippi Mallard Duck Calls) to be very fascinating. I would have guessed wrong about the way the inserts are turned. Good stuff.

I responded on "what anchors" so I thought I would respond here also.
I designed ,invented, produced Ace Anchors with no help from anybody.
I did make a mistake by having my cousin market it for me.
Again, thanks to you that use my anchors and believe me.

all I can say about Carl is that if he can make a decoy anchor as well as he serves his patients. then its the best anchor money can buy.

I know he's been treating me for about 17 years now. since I was 10 years old thanks carl. Jesse

don't worry I got 2 dozen the other day.
