snow goose hunting

Postby gyver » Thu Jan 29, 2004 6:08 pm

a couple of my buddies and myself want to give the snows a rty. we have a field that they've been flying over by the thousands but we don't have any goose hunting stuff. if we could get some people together with flags and decoys i'm sure we could bust the hell out of them.
feb.2 to mar. 10 sure would kill alot of time till turkey season .

let me know if anyone is interested, i'll go check the area this weekend.
we're near clarksdale,ms.

we had a good time, and shot up allot of shells. had an awsome decoy throwing contest. played bury the 4-wheeler. chased -- on foot -- a snow goose around the muddy pond field. learned that you can dry out a couple of sweat shirts by hanging it them the truck window, and that the defroster in your truck loaded up with wet socks makes an awful odor  learned of an unusual natural alternative to toilet paper -- that I will keep to myself. and the kids snore as loud as daddy when tired. all in all, it was a great weekend....
