Need a Tire Recomendation

Guys..... I have a little bit of a dilemma here. I have an '06 F-150 and need a decent set of All terrain tires put on it. With my old truck I would just take it to the local shop and tell them to put whatever on there, but since I have moved I don't have a rapport with anyone local. I don't go mudding, but i do drive down the occasional turn row during hunting season. Also don't want anything too expensive, don't need a super pro all terrain tire, just a general AT. I would go shop around myself but I have 2 tests and a paper due in the next 3 days, and i'm leaving for Maryland a couple days after that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

pm duckiller..... he has some type of all terian that he stands by pretty solid.... if i ever get a set... it will prolly be that set... i leave stock tires on mine till about a week before season and swape em over.... but he seems to like his alot.... shoot him a pm, good guy...

TOYO has a really good set Also look at the Bridgestone Duellers. there are a smooth ride and have some bite to the.

Best road driving and off road tires i've ever had were cooper discoverer... One one time, we had them on 3 different vehicles in 3 different sizes. Rides like a dream on the hwy or interstate, not loud, and will sho nuff bite in the mud and cleaned out well.

Agree with mharville those are some good riding tires to perform so good.
Another good tire I have tried is the Dean All Terrain, Made to copy the Bridgestone Dueler AT. DOn't pull quite as good but they are quieter than the Coopers. Run less than $500 a set and last around 60k miles from my experience, and I am hard on my trucks accelorators.

I went through the same dilemma about 8 months ago for my Z-71. I bought a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers and I wouldnt trade them for anything....they make no noise, they are E rated and do great with a trailer or a load in the bed...I have had them in the mud and in wet corn fields and been pleasantly suprised. They did great at the boat ramp, didnt spin a lick this summer and I never had to use 4x4. They look pretty dam good as well!!! Worth every penny!

You can ask Heking about the mud up here around Leighton....They did great in the wet fields after the corn had been cut.

I have cooper discoverers on my silverado. You can opt for a general AT or more aggressive tread. These are great tires. Middle of the line price, excellent durability and tread life. I have the AT and they do just fine on a slick turnrow.Slap a set on that ford, you won't regret it.

Alright...another question...... What is a good price for Middle of the Road A/T's? I am literally tire ignorant so please excuse me. surprisingly all the places i have called so far it seems like the Nitto Terra Grapplers were the cheapest at around $865 Mounted and Balanced.
