gunsmith

Postby W Vaughan » Wed Oct 21, 2009 12:40 pm

I'm having to get a new barrel out on my rifle and while at it figured a new stock action bedding and trigger job would be nice to. I'm thinking about letting the 'smith at surplus city do the work. Seems to really know what he talking about and I've heard a couple favorable things about them. Any of you had any work like this done there? Good or bad experience?
Thanks

Swann doesn't do much of this I don't think. Surplus city or Billy tierce in Utica. What caliber, what type of barrel, what kind of trigger, what kind of action?

That sounds like a good plan. Call the three places and see who does what.

I have used Swanns and Surplus, both did a good job.
