Primos has a new canadaian goose call ...I think it's called the Mother Clucker...short reed..my buddy has been talking about it. I think it's new and not even out yet, but try them to see.

The Big River game calls has a very good for the novice goose caller. Otherwise, The Tim Grounds half breeds would be my personal preference.
