Drake Waders

Postby woody » Thu Sep 24, 2009 8:18 am

I'm thinking about getting a new pair of waders...I have a pair of old LaCrosse Brushtuff 1200's (seams in crotch are leaking). I have been reading about the LST Drake Waders. They seem to have a lot of practical components. However, I have heard that they do not hold-up well and are prone to leaks/rips/tears.
Does anyone have a pair or heard anything about the LST waders?

I bought a pair last year. They leaked after about 8 trips. I returned them and they sent me a new updated model a couple months ago. I hope that they hold up better.

I think that there are some guys on here that can get them for a good price for you.

I wish that they were cut a little larger but they do have good features.

they have made some improvements based on customer feedback since last year and so far it seems as though they have stood behind the ones that had issues. I have a new pair of the boat pants, which are breathable waist high waders that i have been using teal hunting and they are worth every single penny. going to order some LST waders in the next few weeks. so far Drake's products have been worth the money to me and have held up well.

Brian, he had his custom tailored. I noticed that he had 6 inches of super stretch elastic sewed in across the belly region, i must admit he is creative even had the Willow Break logo sewn in the elastic. He also had them hemmed up for length purposes.

Without a doubt, Cabela's Warrior II Breathables. Layer-up or layer down underneath. They is the Bomb. I will never purchase another pair of Neoprene's.
