Aerial Map

Postby Deadeye » Wed Oct 14, 2009 11:18 am

If I wanted to get an aerial map printed of a piece of property, who does that in the Jackson Metro area. I have the property mapped on Google Earth, now I want to have it blown up and printed. Any ideas?

Thanks.

what size are you wanting to print?

There's the GIS Server for MS that you can export a 30x24 or something like that and then go get it printed at Kikos or something.

Go to the USDA office in your area. I was able to obtain an aerial of my property there. It was a few years ago, so I hope they still offer them.

Go to MYTOPO.COM and you can outline the property and have a 36"x48" poster made and they are the best I have seen. I deal with different aerial maps and places to view them daily for work and these are the best that I have been able to find.

I got a big one of our place from InTime in Cleveland. I don't know what the going rate is elsewhere but this one is pretty big and I gave around $150 for it. It was taken in 2008.

I am located in Vicksburg and can print any size up to 52" width. It will be laminated and gloss finish and I can mount the map on anything from hard board to metal.
