went and shot sunday afternoon, saw where you got in on the money, a 75 is real good, way to go.whitetail ridge is a #1 place.

Oh well, I won enough to make the trip home happy, but not enough to make my wife happy, if ya know what I mean. Let us just say that I was seriously in contention to place until the dreaded "one HORRIBLE stand." (#6, two long flat slightly quartering trap shots that eventually crossed at about 50 yards) Hard to come up from 8 down after that fiasco. Hard to keep from beating your head up against a tree after that fiasco, LOL. If Dick would have let me, I would have gone back and shot a flat of shells at that damn pair till I found it. I have replayed that pair in my head hundreds of times since yesterday, and STILL can't figure out how I spoofed it so bad. Lack of skill, most likely [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] Still had a great time. First tournament that I have ever been to where they fed me all you could eat steak/shrimp TWO different times! Nice targets, good use of the terrain, plenty of cold water on the course. Blue chip operation. I also appreciated the fact that they had good scorers. I saw one scorekeeper shut a "chip begger" down cold. Good deal. I will start shooting WR regularly when I go up to visit Mom. Hope to shoot with you some.

Hey Scooter: You gotta like that 5 stand, too. Hit a 23 warming up Sat morning. Never saw an insulated roof on a 5 stand before. It kept it a lot cooler in the heat of the day. Very nice touch!

the 5 stand is really great sunday is was hot on the skeet field, but quite cool in the 5 stand. we nick named it the duck blind.any time you come up let's hook up and bust a few.
