The doc might have diagnosed Bi-Po-Man-Dep,
but I am leaning more towards OCD.

170 post in just over a month?

I KNEW that little pup was gonna be the STUFF buddy. You could tell she had what it took. I'm glad I got her into some good hands, got pictures of that somewhere too.

Ramsey did you get that duck project finished and if so how is it doing?

Jeff I want to come see you when the fish get to biting if you still have the time to fight them.

Good to have you back.

Now that you are on that medicine, are you gonna hunt ducks with shotguns or do you still plan to hunt them with rocks (the traditional way)? :D

Remember that land I got you to look at across the river from Phillip? I plan to do some things with the land next to the river this year. Supposed to meet with this guy from Delta Wildlife in the next few weeks. If you are interested and have the time, I would like to get you thoughts about the best way to improve it for the ducks.

By the way, I got a break with some kind of aquatic weed growing in it that produces a flower that dries then has little sticker things on it that stick to you like cockle burrs. The ducks hate it and I am afraid that it is killing the break as a duck hole. Have you are anyone else ever heard of this weed? If so, what do you know about it, and can you kill it?

You are prolly going to meet Gayden Polan from DW he is a great guy and he can help you out a lot too. I been in on some stuff with Gayden and the boys over there.

I can call the plant from that description but you can kill anything
if you want to bad enough.. :D :D

I still want to kill ducks with a stick and have thought about how to do it so much that I honestly believe that I COULD, but the conditions have to be hand made to perfection and I dont have the "facilities" to make that happen at the moment.

I have done some reading on archaeology since Ive been around since I do like to collect rocks. I read pieces of the reports on the excavations of Dust Cave, which is a well know cave in North Alabama.

Occupations there started 13,000 years ago which is almost as long as they have been here. And all the way -- from the very start of stratification at 13,000 years to the very end at 1,500 years ago, guess what they were eating more than anything?

You got it -- DUCKS -- There are more duck bones in every strata, and every occupation they studied, than any other. And I just bet you they were killin them with a stick HE HE HE HE HE

(Must have been a CRAP LOAD Of ducks back then for those type usage patterns)

They also found a dog buried in the 11,000 year old strata with duck bones sprinkled over the top of him.

We playin a real old game gentlemen, I'd like to try and do it the old fashioned way.....

Doc, I can gaurantee you ONE G'damn thing, unlike WAY TOO MANY people on these forums, the last thing on God's green EARTH that you are gonna see ME post is where I am hunting, where TO hunt, where I USED to hunt, where I MIGHT hunt, or where I WONT hunt.......

Half the damn problem out there with all these out of state idiots came right off of this forum.

I was north - how about you?

Well I fer one missed you an yer dialects en I doan care who reads this sheet.

You were way overboard often but I can't remember ever not getting the point, even though it was hard sometimes. Also don't remember you being wrong, though I'm sure others thought so. Have to admit, your delivery was a little course. I always thought that you could write though, and I remember accusing you of reading too much Twain, though I guess I see i was wrong now; I hope the books don't mezz you up.

Your best contribution to me personally was by pointing out that ducks can wind you; you can't get information like that just anywhere these days. Stuff like that is kinda obvious but folks don't notice it.

I'm glad your back and I hope you get to pizzzzin folks off real soon, but in an acceptable way, without gettin overly personal. Sometimes it gets real dull around here.

Thankx You two, I have actually been told I can write, so much, that I decided to try and learn to do it "officially"

Larry Reynolds emailed me and told me that the "no ducks" piece was being widely circulated among the professional field of duckery and was started by a professor in Canada. He said "good job" and he sure dont say that much....

So they see something there. I read some of the fowards, some of them found it interesting how I looked at historical migrations and why they happened like they did.

Anyway I am going to try and start writing since I do it in a OCD manner anyway as someone pointed out hehehehehehehe

If anyone wants to read that piece I did on the migration you can see it here.
