3 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5

It is odd to think that we should rejoice in our suffering, in fact it is almost impossible to do. However, God is in the bad times, just as he is in the good. Smooth seas make for poor sailors.

Remember to take things one day at a time and do not worry about that which you cannot control. Really think about that. I have to remind myself of that simple premise several times per day.

Also, pray. You don't have to be "good" at it. It is amazing what prayer can do in your life.
