ya'll is a pretty wide stroke...if you'll go back and look at all my posts about msu, you'll find that i'm not a died in the wool, kool aid drankin', we rock ya'll suck fan -i'm pretty honest about our past and know we've sucked and that is part of the fun of getting a rebel so riled up - cause ole miss has sucked just as bad as state has, but rebels just won't admit it ...and some of your sour posts suggest that you may be full of it, yourself ...it's all in good fun, my friend, unless there is something that you can do to change the outcome on the field, rivalry is all in good fun! otherwise it gets dark and nasty...

Lighten up Moody, UM has some fairly one sided fans as well and that fuels some of this fire. For instance I've been friends with a guy since we were born, his mom and my mom were college friends (both of his parents went to DSU), anyway we grew up together and both went to State. He actually stuck around Starkville and got his masters, too. My buddy's little brother is currently at State. For some reason tho the whole family acts like they are Ole Miss thru and thru. I'm talking like even when they don't go to the games in Oxford they get all dressed up in their UM gear and even drink out of UM stadium cups just to watch on tv. In fact, out of our gameday cooking and watching crew we have not one person there with a degree from UM but 3 of them wear their UM Under Armour polo shirts and mix drinks in UM stadium cups yelling hotty toddy.

Now, as this guys life long friend he even annoys the $hit out of me and takes it all too seriously....if we are watching the game and UM loses, he leaves all pissed off not even caring about the company and the rest of the days games.

Just to take this one step further, I got a call from him last week saying that he and his wife were fighting about putting a flag up at the house, I ask what flag would you be wanting to put up that she wouldn't like...he said Ole Miss. I said well maybe thats because she grew up a State fan and went to State, you know like you did? Then I ask so what if she ask to put up a MSU flag? Response I got was "Seriously, are you kidding me?" How do you respond to that?
