side by side 410

Postby laduck » Thu Sep 17, 2009 6:56 pm

I think that I want to purchase one. Since I am a retired school teacher, I want one of the low end of the scale. :( :( Do any of you know who makes a pretty good one?

I have a CZ and love it. It's built on a true 410 scale...it's "gunned" down meaning it's NOT built on a 12 ga stock with 410 barrels.. i bought mine for 7 ben franklins several years ago. english stock...it's nice

Try one of these, they make a great over/under.

.410 shells are so expensive you might ought to think about a single shot!

I love my Yildiz O/U but the .410 side by side just doesn't look that good to me. I picked one up not too long ago and the fit just seemed rough. I bought a Tristar about a year ago and it's really nice. It's the only .410 side by side I've seen with screw in chokes. It also comes with single selective trigger and ejectors instead of extractors. The model is the "Gentry". If you can find one it will tun you around $800.00 though.

look for a nice old stevens 311. You might pay a little more for it but it will certainly appreciate in value

I have "taken ownership" of a 311A that my wife has. It has been a lot of fun to dove hunt with.
