Red Dawn was the best movie EVER (that doesn't have al pachino, chuck norris or eastwood in it). I watched it not long ago with my 11 year old tj. Ya got any ideal how hard it is to explain to a kid nowadays who the Russians are? And then the Cubans start speaking spanish... sheez, I had to stop and explain all that. Finally, after about an hour of the show being paused and I explained this stuff, I said, those are the bad guys! ha. I guess it great that our kids don't know about communism except from history books and old movies. travis

dude, i flat wore out my VHS red dawn tape.........put a bunch of crap together and was a "wolverine" fighter for halloween - no one got it at first..........had me one of the lil flat hats and kicked it to the side green beret/kid on red dawn style..............best i could do.

hollered WOOOOOLVERINE everytime someone came to the door to give me some candy. those were some good times.

awesome halloween, gator

Now, if we can just avoid that D@MN song titled "I've Had The Time of My Life", or whatever the h3ll it's called. I hated it in 1987, and it ain't got no better in 20 years!

I liked Road House and Next of Kin. Remember they both came out the same year.
There's a reason it's called fishin'& huntin' instead of catchin'& killin'

Thanks 4dawgma  . Every, single, stupid, radio station in the world played that song all freakin' day long in 1987. It was kind of nice the first few hundred times I heard it, but DAY-YAM brother! It has been 22 years. They need to give it a rest already!
