Let me tell yall a little bedtime story about the public hunting in the delta. It is the worse display of sportmanship I have ever seen in all my years of duck hunting. I told myself and God that I would never set foot back in Delta National Forrest, as long as I lived. If the public WMA were the only place i had to hunt then i would never shoot at another duck!!!!!!! :
These people that are this way are aware of who they are, and the need to stay east of the delta, or find something else to hunt!

I have never hunted in the Vicksburg area much but I can assure you that Panther Swamp is still an excellent place to Duck hunt. Although as stated before, be prepared to get there early for a spot.I hunt on public land and I have found that the type of rude hunters that are frequently mentioned in these discussions get burnt out because they dont kill many ducks. Weekends are unbearable though. The fruits come out of the wood work.
