Nah..but I still have a week of leave left!! And I didn't even leave the house today....Gets addictin' sittin' in front of the cpu...I squall about it when I have to at work...but ya know..this is different
I may go to Heaven, or I may go to hell....But one thing is for certain..It'll be after Duck season!!

Do any of ya'll know if DU had anything to do with the research on steel shot. Doves are migratory birds and we still shoot lead at them.

They banned lead because of the harm to aquatic environment. There was something about lead being harmful to fish and such. Since ducks are hunted primarily on lakes and water that drains into lakes and rivers, they wanted to cut back on the amount of lead entering these bodies of water.

I voted that DU was good for ducks !

Question was too broad,.... In the long run, DU has helped !
I side with Gulfcoast,... If the question had been worded,... Have they done any good in the past 3 or 4 yrs. I may have answered differently !

I was told by a friend, (on this forum) to support both,... That is what I do ! With a bigger, more involved, portion leaning toward Delta Waterfowl !

Too bad these 2 don't work together, for the common good !

The reason DU dosen't care for DW is simple,... DW done gone and reached in DU's back pocket ! More power to em !

Rip Em that has a lot to do with it. Doves are hunted on the same land we duck hunt. I understand the thought process but who did the research?
