one of my best freinds and great huntin buddy of mine got severly burned this afternoon while working on his truck. He has been a member on here for a couple of years now, he goes by JFW2006.

This afternoon he was setting the timing on one of his old huntin trucks and it started to overheat, he knew that the cap was off, but was unaware it was almost to hot to keep running. all he had to do was move the distributor just a fraction when all of a sudden the coolant was like a gyser coming out of the radiator. He was drenched from his right ear all the way down his right side with boiling hot anti-freeze. He has 2nd and third degree burns down his right side. He was transported from houston to jackson burn center by ambulance.

From what his folks has said he might have to have plastic surgrey to fix the burns, but they will keep me posted on his status.

please everyone pray for him and his family. I am planning on having a fund raiser of some sort for him to help the expenses, Not set in stone yet on what type but gonna have one.

They now have a burn center in Jackson at the old Rankin Medical Center. Now Crossgates Medical. I think they ship the really bad stuff to Georgia and do alot of secondary surgery and covelescence in Jackson.

Good luck to your friend. We have some other members on here that have had their run in's with fire.
