Canada's

Postby quack_a_tack » Mon Aug 31, 2009 9:03 pm

I saw a small flock of Canadas on our farm pond at work this morning. These are the first ones i have seen on that pond since March, are they Migrators seems a lil early for migrating Canadas? They surely are resident geese, it has not gotten that cold up north yet.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

definitely residents.

more than likely they were bumped off their normal spot for some reason and that was the next best spot.

I saw a group yesterday I feel were migrators. Where I saw them was extremely close to where the residents hang out but were so high you could barely see them. They kept fyling South until they were out of sight.
