Re: live croakers
I cant think of the name of it right now but there is a bait store where canal road comes into gulf shores. If you are coming from orange beach on canal road, when you get into gulf shores there is a stop sign. There on the left is a bait shop, it is old school, they may have Croakers.
If that dont work just get some cut bait and a peir, garonteeed to get a few croakers and more than a few hard heads.
If I think of the name of the place I will put it up.

Hotty Toddy, the name of the bait place at the canal is Frith's. I believe that they supply alot of the bait to several of the stores there. I would check with Top Gun and I know that they used to sell bait at Fort Morgan Marina but that place has changed some over the years.

They still sell bait at Fort Morgan Marina it's now Gulf Shores Marina. I would say your best bet is Frith's on Canal Rd. Shoot for the price of croakers you could go buy a small cast net and catch em' yourself.

Re: live croakers
We always catch our own. A small shrimp net, and a half hour pull and we fill up the boat with bait...

Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.
Re: live croakers
Frith's is the only place I could find in OB/GS that even sold live croakers.. Most of the bait shops will send you in that direction.
