TODO wrote:I have a hunters safety system reversible camo/blaze orange. I pretty much only hunt out of lock ons and i wear it if im in the tree. It is really comfortable and is easy to put on. I even wear it as my blaze orange during rifle season, regardless if im in a tree or not. It has a couple of pockets that are handy. And ive never had an issue with getting to hot. On all my lock on sets i have a treestrap in the tree, when i get to the top of the ladder i hook in with a carbiner and am good to go. The vest also has hooks for a linemans belt, which makes hanging stands a hell of a lot easier. I would say my vest is one of the best $100 bills ive ever spent

x2, the heat has never been an issue for me and the weight surely aint that bad. I am a little fellow and the weight has never bothered me before. If the weight of the vest bothers someone its probablly their gut that is really bothering them.

I like mine.. I think they also have a mess one now...

Is that the one with the "containment system" for when you fall from the tree and mess your pants?

I have the old original HSS and it is a little heavy but way easier to put on than any I had ever used before. They have a new Pro series that is supposed to be much lighter and breathable that I think I may get this year.

You need to check out the Loggy Bayou Transformer harness, it is awesome. It's not a vest so it's not hot. It has padded straps, belt d-rings and binoc rings. IMO it's the way to go.

I have a Seat O Pants that has a compartment in the back of it. I keep my release and maske and gloves in there so that I am forced to put it on to hunt. I would no have a harness without a vest, it keeps it from getting tangled up.
