Not for you Democrats, well maybe

Postby the doctor » Wed Jan 21, 2004 9:37 am

Gentlemen

I am not sure how many of you tuned in, it seems everyone has spent a lot of time on this site b**ching about the duck season, But I felt a great sense of pride listening to our President address the nation.

I appreciate the way he spoke, commanding and determined, and agree with his morals and principals. We are ever so fortunate to have a man of his calibur leading our nation.

I am proud to live in a country where I am free to duck hunt, ducks or not, where a free enterprise system drives the price of duck land higher based on demand, where guns and ammunitions and gear are readily available, where our Government does provide recreational areas for public use, where private organizations compete for our dollars to support conservation, where we are free to discuss our opinions about any topic we deem important, where service men and women give up their duck seasons to protect mine...I am proud to live in the greatest country in the world...the USA!!

Four more years!!

I do believe that they did find some bombs the other day that contained a nerve agent. Dont that count as a weapon of mass destruction?

I believe the economy runs in cylces. The President can affect it slightly, but not to any great extent.

The Democrats don't like him because he actually leads the country. It might not be the best way, but it is his way. Unlike the Clinton years, the Oval Office has someone with integrity, honesty and leadership abilities.

I, for one, am proud that George W. Bush is our president and look forward to 4 more years. But be careful in 2008 when Hilary Clinton will join the mix!

Hey quackhead you better do some homework brother. Mr. william clinton is the one who signed the major agreement that led to all the jobs leaving. I am not going to let you pull the ronnie muskrat wool over peoples eyes. Yes there are some things that could be done differently but as a whole picture Bush is the man and on the democrat side mr. leiberman or how ever you spell his name is the man. take the bad with the bad shake it up and boom what do you have bad politics. And also I would ask that everyone remember all the plans that barbour had and keep track of him. It is our job to keep these cats in line so get your voice out there.
So, you don't like us cutting trees; well try using plastic toilet paper!!!

Kinda weird to see people touting the president as a sportsman and conservatist, when he just tried to single handedly gut the clean water act, and remove ALL legislation to protect small wetlands. Ya know, the ones ducks grow on. When the USGS & Interior dept cried danger, he had the stuides they provided classified, so nobody would see them. A last minute bipartisian group kept them protected, but its a matter of time before he makes another run at them.

The farm bill provides voluntarily protection from draining and farming wetlands... but it does nothing to keep people from draining, filling, and developing another subdivision or mini mall in them. Clean water act does. The bush adminstration has in one term set back environmental laws 25 years. He is no friend to your wildlife legacey.. hes an envrionmental rapist willing to sell anything natrual to business, count on that.

Here he wants to send people to mars and the moon now. Not a bad plan for a man determined to "@#$%#" up the environment on this planet. travis

I never said Clinton was any better. My point is, are any of them really worth bragging on? If everyone of these true blue AMERICANS bought things that said "MADE IN USA" it would not matter who the pres was the jobs would be here in this GREAT COUNTRY. My personal opinion I don't trust any politican rep. or dem.

seems the president in office is always held responsible for the current economy....but that's not true.....he is blessed with t that from the former president...the economy is slow to change...the crappy economy we're experiencing now is due to bill clinton and the democrats..The good economy we experienced during the clinton years was because of what ronald regan and george bush sr did! hell yea, 4 more years, and after that, put another republican in there for 8 more!
