Hey guys, me and a couple of buddies got drawn out for the panther swamp gun hunt this coming weekend. We camped out in delta nation forest last time but was figuring on staying in a motel this go round. Anyone have any info on the closest towns and what kind of places they have to stay at?

YAZOO CITY..

Yazoo City is about thirty minutes from there and the best accomodations in driving range. They have a Quality Inn (not sure of that name)and a Days Inn all on Hwy. 49 N. To get to them, you'll come to a red light as you come into town where 49W turns left and 49 N goes straight and becomes Jerry Clower Blvd. Go straight on Clower Blvd. About 2-3 mi. you will see the Quality (?) Inn on the right and just past it, the Days Inn on the left. I can't remember the name of the first one, but it is the better in terms of cleaner/high quality. The Days Inn seems to cater to quite a few hunters.
