I finally crossed over. I'd been a canvas wader fan and advocate for years till I ran into the Hodgman Lakestream 5mm neoprene. Hodgman is proud of the waders and I guess I have to wait and see if the investment was worth it. Nice hand warmer pouch and huge astronaunt like boots. The velco suspenders are a bit suspect. Let me know if you have had any luck or unluck with these. I don't want to get burned.

I got some of the Hodgeman lakestream last winter after 2 brand new pair of Rocky kept leaking in the crotch. The wharehouse manager where the store buys their gear told the store owner to refund my money and not sell me another pair of LaCrap boots!!! I took the money, bought a pair of the Hodgeman and had about 40 bucks left over. They worked fine, and I will be a Hodgeman man from now on out. LaCrosse did reconsider; they sent me a pair of BrushTuffs, free. I gave them away. I trap, duck hunt and seine fish in mine...they have held up under the toughest of conditions.

I've been wearing lakestreams for the last two years with no problems.
