No one is really that informed on here as far as Arkansas goes.

I would suggest you post this on the Arkansas forum, I am sure they will be more than helpful.

I swear they start earlier and earlier every year...wanna borrow my gun/boat/dog/wife while you're at it???? I mean really...were you the kind of kid that cheated off everyone else in school? Sorry, do your own homework....if you ask face to face you might get some info, but on the Internet for the world to see.... Not this white boy....save up and hire a guide or day lease a pit...you can thank me later....

I'd start by scouting around the Walnut Ridge Wal-Mart parking lot. There is a field next to it that holds some sheet water after rains. With some good calling and enough robo ducks you might get some shooting at some stupid bootlips.
WTF DUDE!!!!!!!!!!
If you don't know where the public land is or what type terrain it is, how in the hell do you think you are gonna find it and hunt it? All you'll do is "@#$%#" up someone elses hunt. For the same price you'll spend stumbling around blindly on public land and not killing anything for a weekend you could day lease a pit from a farmer.
WHERE IN THE "@#$%#" DO THESE PEOPLE COME FROM!!!!!

you know its pretty pathetic how big people act on a computer lol, you have know idea about my hunting abilities nor my navigational wherewithal so a polite answer would have been quite a bit more acceptable than some hollier than thow rant lol. Part of the fun in hunting is goin new places and having new experiences and if you have a problem with that than the joke is on you my friend.

your right... but also part of the fun is finding it out for yourself instead of looking for a handout.

Okay, in the spirit of brotherhood, and because I realize we all had to start somewhere, I am going to do my best to anwer your questions:
duckcrazy wrote:Has anyone hunted the public land in this area, me and a friend cant really afford a guide but wanna get in on a good hunt/getaway.

Yes, a lot of folks have hunted public land in that area.

duckcrazy wrote:And is the pub land woods, rivers etc? thanks

Yes it is.

There you go have a great day....

piece of advice. Don't act hard, like you can out call, out shoot, out retrieve everyone and their mamas, then end your sentence in "lol."

It ruins your street cred.

wasnt tryn to "act all hard yo" this is really turning out to be a joke to me anyway, when people use terms like act hard and street cred on a message board , then i know this cant be something that surely cant be serious
