Do I smell the old politics game again ?? The strong rumors only 10 days ago were that the 60 day season was a done deal. I would guess the "upper" end of the flyway States are using the same, last ditch, behind-the-back, political maneuvers as before to take it back. Seems like we are long overdue for some solid waterfowl research to guide us on this issue. But,inevitably, some politician will have to "interpret" the data and we will have to start all over again.

Jebster, I am pretty sure that Dr. Kaminski did a good bit of pair bonding research that would help us on this issue. There's probablly some guys who know something about it on here.

I've got that report here in front of me but it ain't all in our favor.
Lot's of variables with the study and the conclusion is to proceed cautiously with late hunting and do more in-depth study/research.
I'm hearing that no one (Feds,State,DU,Delta) is gung-ho for more research and nobody is writing a check for it either. So, nothing is moving.
