Toshiba Satellites are actually high end laptops. So if you find one anywhere near as cheap as an acer, HP, or one along those lines i'd get the Toshiba. The high end ones are Sony Vaio or Mac. I currently have a few dells and one vaio for my office and love my vaio. I've got a 17" hd screen or something close and man it has a good clear picture. Computers are like anything else. You pay for what you get. If it's more for a Core 2 Duo or quad core and you can afford it.....get it.

I have a MAC and will never never never never never ever ever ever ever go back to a PC!!!!!!!!

Never have to worry about viruses or hidden downloads slowing your computer down. I have had my MAC for 2 years and not one single problem...

I have never had any virus protection on here and I have never gotten a virus (and I am not knocking on wood lol)

Both mine and a friend have had our MACS hit the floor hard and neither suffered any damage!!!!

A well built computer that is the CHIT!!!!!!!!!

Bite the bullet and get a Mac. You will be glad you did, I love mine. Go by the Apple store in Ridgeland and check them out. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for!!!!!!
