to shoot some ducks this Sat. morning or what? Sorry Anat, I feel real bad for ya, HAHAHA!!! I'm gonna be gettin my stuff together this evening and headin on down tommorrow afternoon...man I'm fired up. I've heard some good reports for the Delacroix and Venice areas. Good luck to all who hunts this weekend.

How many shells are you taking dos gris? One to the guys that I teach with (a pretty good hunter) took off from school Monday and went to Delacroix fishing. He told me that he didn't know what was normal, but there was a bunch of birds down there. As you said mostly teal and grays with a good many mottles). You should be back at the camp early! I should do ok on the WMA if other people will leave me alone. I don't know what it is, but I am going by myself and it just isn't as much fun. Just getting old I guess. Jack-
I see where HWY 90 cuts thru the southern section of the WMA. Is the WMA split into 2 zones (east and west)or does the whole WMA open up this weekend? If its two zones that could drastically increase the crowding this weekend, huh? I take it you hunt in the southern part if thats the case.


By the way I'm bringin 3 boxes and my poles. Good luck and be safe on the WMA.

Man me and my dog are so excited we are about to bust!!!! I can't take it!!! Bringin 2.5 boxes of shells, 50 dekes, you name it, small cooker for breakfast, just bringin everything I can think of. I just ca't wait. A few ducks on our lease, but once they get hammered in Venice they will flock to our lease, will have the eat at Jeff's sign roarin. Prolly too late, but good luck ya'll hope you guys hammer them. Will update all tomorrow.
