These a-holes are discriminating against someone with a British accent. Where will it end????? After all, it’s all the accent and not the mannerisms or how someone carries them self isn’t it? I’ve heard some folks with southern drawls that came across as smooth and as eloquent as anyone I’ve met, and I’ve also heard some folks that play it up like the guy in the video and sound like they do meth and rape goats when then get off work at the cheap smoke shop. I think it is largely what you make it.

I didn't watch the original video, but I assume you are talking about Kevin Skinner on America's Got Talent. I happen to live in the same town as him, although I do not know him. I was told by a family member of his that he was told to play up the country bumpkin, redneck persona.

Anyway, he's got a great voice and I hope he goes far.
