No comment on the future wife but training yourself can be very rewarding. For puppies Sound Beginnings by Jackie Mertens is excellent and for young dog and basic training I like the Wildrose video. If you want to pursue trials and tests then the Lardy program is great.

Southernhunter you're in luck West Mississippi will be putting on a seminar July 11 you need to come the guys there can help you both of those problems. Most of the guys there will tell you they are not the best dog trainers but they can give you all the advice you need for the future wife.

Haha... Not enough time to find new future wife only have six weeks and put more money into this than it would to cost to have a dog trained.

Well for what its worth , what ever she tells you ,,YOUcant do now ,,,,,will only get worse after the honey moon . :roll:

There is a food they eat at the wedding that causes them to change ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Wedding Cake :lol:

We have NEVERmet him or talked to him ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i promise i will not tell him you are getting a new trailer . I may ask him if he knows :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ya think there's a reason you have never met him?? :lol: Don't fret over the trailer. I told him myself. LOL! And just to keep from completely hi-jacking this thread... the trailer comes courtesy of Paul Kartes of Lakota Retrievers who is also EXCELLENT with the dog, including soft dogs. He is the one shown handling my lab at the Grand. The yella boy was having some difficulties at the SH level with his prior owners before Paul took him.
