what is the legal way to plant an old fish pond with millitt,,and as
far as that goes what about a slew

You can plant and hunt over any grain crop for waterfowl. But you can't manipulate the grain crop other than harvesting it an a bona fide agricultural manner. By manipulating, examples would be cutting it down or running over it to scatter the grain. Planting for ducks is totally legal.
As for manipulating a grain crop for dove hunting, that is legal.

PLANT AWAY, no one can or will stop you from planting, you just cant do anything thats not a normal ag practice and hunt over it

plant it!! you just cannot clip it,roll it or anything else that'll be considered manipulation, if your gonna duck hunt it, a catfish pond is a great place to plant, they are easy to flood to the right level, start the water within 6 inches of the grain heads, be sure to leave an open hole where you paln to hunt so they can see your dekes

You are completely legal to plant in a pond bottom. You can not however manipulate the crop. So, simply never take the same path in on your quad when you go to put out decoys.
