Best Steakhouse/Restaurant in Memphis

I'll be in Memphis this next weekend for a few days and a few of us are looking to go out to eat somewhere nice. Like Ruth's Chris, Flemings, Folks Folly etc? What do ya'll think would be the optimum place to go have a nice filet/seafood and a couple of drinks?

I'm a fan of the Butcher Shop & Jim's Place. Never been to Folk's Folly but have heard nothing but good things about it.

I will be in Memphis this weekend also. Gonna eat a Gus's fried chicken , maybe Texas de Brazil. I also like Rendezevous. Of all the places I have ever been anywhere though, Texas De Brazil is one of the best. I would pick it hands down.

Capriccio Grill in the Peabody will beat the pants off Folks Folly and Ruth's Chris if you're looking for a good steak. Buckley's is also just about as good and half the price but little atmosphere.

The best.......Erling Jensen

It is the only true 5 star restaraunt in Memphis. Their fillet will melt in your mouth. My next favorite is the Mesquite Chop House.

Collettas--- Great Italian
Butcher Shop, one in Germantown and one near Union on River Downtown---- Great Steaks


Any of these will be great. I travel to Memphis on business at least 2 times per month and these are my ol faithfuls. Usually dont go to Texas De Brazil unless you have absolutely nothing else to do afterwards because you will not be able to walk around and see the city after eating there you will have to bed down.
