Eagle Lake Crappie Help!!!!!

Postby one more pass » Mon Jan 12, 2004 1:11 pm

Well guys I've got to take a break from hunting to fish in my first crappie tourn. this weekend at Eagle Lake. I have fished the lake for the hybrids but never crappie fished it before. Would love some local experts to give a few tips! On a side note had a great shoot Friday morning up the Ark. river. Our group shot 23 birds 11 greenheads, 2 gadwalls, and 10 gw teal.

You got about 3 choices for crappie fishin Eagle.
1. Piers
2. Float Row
3. South end, Buck Shoot

Bring every color jig you have ever seen. If you dont start wearin out pretty quick on a color, change. I haven't fished crappie there in a year or two, but it can be great.
