on a big one last night.............61-54..........

Must suck to be a fan of Ole Miss basketball............

Of Course, given how our football team at MSU is utterly pathetic and probably could not beat the average Juco JV squad, we know all about choking.....

I listened to it on my way back from Jackson. I could tell, half way thru the second half, that we were going to lose. The momentum totally shifted, I could hear more State fans over the radio waves than I could Ole Miss fans. It was an exciting game for a novice basketball fan like myself to listen to. Congrats Dawgs. Glad you could regain a small bit of dignity in the Mississippi collegiate sports world.

I know you have heard the joke about changing the MSU mascot to a coondog.

Ducman7, you must be an idiot to say something like that last post. Who cares what color he is? Furthermore, what's the difference in having a black football coach and a black basketball coach? Last time I checked Barnes was awfully dark  .

Boy, that guy makes us proud to be Mississipians, doesn't he? What I would really like to say is that "I'll take a black football coach with lots of integrity over a red-neck peckerwood without a brain anyday!" But, that would not be the right thing to do and we all have our faults, so I'll just say "Way to go Dawgs!" Idiots will always be with us. Like my Daddy always said, "Better to remain silent and let people believe you a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Did I mention, "Go Dawgs?"

By the way, you Rebs looked good in the Cotton Bowl. Most of my family was out there and had a great time. Hope to make it interesting for you next year. I'm already hearing that recruiting is going well at State, and Ole Miss will get theres, so it could be good!

oh dear god to that last post. Speakin of MS football, we all know that MSU's future is bright but very much so untested as of yet. What's happening with Ole Miss now that Eli's gone??? Who is the next starting QB and do they have a chance next year? They did look good in the Cotton Bowl, I will have to agree with that statement.
