What about the lives of those sharing the road with this maniac for the TWENTY-TWO minutes that this high speed chase lasted....???
That idiot risked the lives of hundreds of people, with all due respect to the officer that was hit by the car. I believe it just broke the officer's leg.

Well like i said before until your in the situation you have no clue how your going to respond.
From the time the wreck happened until the officers started hitting him until the last lick was thrown wasn't but a few seconds. I think once they reliazed the suspect was "out" they stopped hitting him. In those situations once the adrenalin is flowing , it don't just stop automatically.
Once you try to kill an LEO, in my opinion you don't have any rights. Thats whats wrong with the world today, laws are made for the criminals and there are to many limp wristed pencil pushers tryin to protect them.

Kinda like this, say you go to a club, and you grab every girls booty you see and nothin happens, you goin to keep doin it, you go to club and grab girls booty, and when you do, her boyfriend beats your
booty, its illegal for you to grab her booty and its illegal for him to assault you but i bet you would quit if you knew you were going to get the $#!+ kicked out of you everytime you did it...

Well 5 cops were fired as well as I think they should have been. I can understand if the guy would have wrecked and got out of the car and took off running but the guy had just flipped a car and was obviously out of it. He could have had a broke neck and they would have made it worse, I am not taking up for the guy because I believe they took him out at the right place with the right tactic but is it right to beat the hell out of a crippled person that can't defend themself whether it be a good or bad person?

Well not tryin to go back on my thoughts but after going back and watching it about 10 times i can see where it looks very bad from a viewers point of view but from a LEO's point of view and who has been in similiar situations and in situation where i have had guns involved, when the adrenalin is flowin, its hard to stop until you are damn sure the threat is eliminated.... And for the record i have never beat anybody that was unconcious or once in cuffs, but when they had the full ability to hurt or kill me and before they were cuffed up is a different story.

That's all I am saying, if your life is in danger I don't care if you are a cop or not you do what you have to do to protect yourself but if you pass someone laying in a ditch that is wanted for attempted murder and they are helpless are you going to go over there and detain them or call for back up and roll in with a army and beat someone that is not even concious any more?

In that particular situation, as short of time as it was from the time he was thrown from the vehicle
until they got to him, it is/was hard to tell if he was unconcious or just layin there shakin up. and the reason im sayin that is i've seen them get ejected and lay there for a couple of seconds and then regain their thoughts and get up and run. Now for the one who was throwin all the left and rights, that might of been a a few to many.

Haha!! I understand exactly where you are coming from I just hope that someone never beat's me like that when I am down and out. They beat him for 10 or 11 seconds, I figured they would have known that he was out when the first officer whacked him with that stick and he didn't move but I wasn't there and have never been put in that situation so I wouldn't know.

Just sent you a message how about this weekend, we can put in at grenada and get out at greenwood. Or we can just go to the ponds and shoot them out of the truck window! :D
