I got a sun tattoo on my ankle about 15 years ago. At the time I thought it was kinda cool. Now I don't think it's so cool. At least I can cover it up with a sock if I don't want it visible. You young fellows need to put some thought into what and where you get a tattoo. Your thoughts and tastes in whats cool or important now will prolly change later on. A tattoo will be part of you forever.

got my fraternity letters on my ankle. haven't liked it since the year after i got it - "woooooooo, yeah, let's go to buzzard's and get a tattoo!!! what are you gettin? me too!"
tried burning it off, scratching it off.... aint' coming off with out puttin some cash down - may have to get some wrecking balm and try that. buzzard wasn't really too concerned with keeping it straight and uniformed...

I started getting them when I was 17 and have aquired quite a few since. I like everything I have gotten, but the one rule I have made myself stick to is not getting anything that you can't cover up with a short-sleeved dress shirt or polo. When you see a tattoo on a person most people automatically begin forming a certain kind of impression about them, so for employment's sake I keep mine above the elbows. I am not a personal fan of tatoos, however that's the great thing about the world everyone can do their own thing. I think Trip is into tatoos, but I may have that backwards.

i came real close to gettin one.. let me say i agree with what trip says about placement of the tat. i was consiering gettin one-around my ankle area.. just a small design.. actually i still want it.. all i want is the siloutte outline of the duck head.. mallard head. thats it.. just one color..

one reason i strongly considered doing this.. is i know right now.. and forever.. that ducks and duck hunting will always be a part of who i am...

unless i take up deer hunting.. bwabwaa not!

My great grandfather was in the navy so I have really been cosidering getting a naval portrait across my back. I want something that says POWER!! Think I might have found something that will fit the bill.
