Okay ole timers...Crow, Judge, Swamprat...I've come to like those old Victor dekes. There seem to be several models, though, and I wondered if anybody knows anything about them. I've got a D-9 and a D-10, just bought a pair of D-9's. Looking at some D-9, D-9R and D-10 pintails that look great. They are the plastic type and don't seem to be very sought after, but I like the plastics better than the old wooden ones. Also came across some paper-mache and burlap Victors from the 40's. I'm not a deke collector by any means, but just find the Victors interesting.

I have two of the Victors that my father-in-law gave me. They are the paper mache kind. His wife took some of his that were older than those and painted them green to use as door stops! Makes me sick to think about it!

Ole timer, huh! Just wait until I get to Isola, I'll show you! By the way, do your blinds have handicapped access for my wheelchair? And, can you call the ducks in real close so I can see them better?

What is the old timer stuff? As crow said, if you can call (I don't have the breath anymore), if you or your dog can see them coming (I have been wearing glasses for a long time, also had a cataract), if you shoot well (can not blame that one on old age) if you have a good 4 wheeler (have a hard time walking in the gumbo) then I would love to hunt with a young buck like you. I hope that you have a good season Wingman. Jack
