Postby turkeyman » Thu Apr 02, 2009 9:01 pm

Well as most of you know (or the ones who know me) that my wife is pregnant. we are 6 weeks into it and today we got to see the heart beat i came to tears. i was paralized with joy. I have 2 step sons that i have been raising for about 3 to 4 years (ages 7 and 8 ) so this is my first birth child. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and family and now blessed me with another child. Please keep us in your prayers and i will keep yall updated. like i said if you have kids you know what i am talking about (that feeling ) of see that first heart beat.

God IS amazing! I had the same experience last November. Hearing that little heartbeat and seeing that little life on the ultra-sound monitor really does something to you. The very first thought I was struck with was that I was being blessed with the opportunity to witness the miracle of the CREATION of life first hand. It is truly beyond me how anyone can witness that and not believe that God created us. There is just too much going on in there for it to be an accident! And, who in their right mind would not consider that a viable life, and consider abortion? At our first sonogram I watched the baby scratch his knee and face! Anything that can itch is a life! So cool!

Savor each of these experiences, man!

That is great. Wait til the first 3/4D sonogram which starts about 27 weeks......unbelievable. My son was actually sucking his left thumb and the lady said he would probably be a 'lefty', well he is now 2 1/2 and is a south paw.....that first heart beat will take a man to his knees no matter who/what he thinks he is.....more blessings to come....

The 3/4 D Sonagram is a wast of money in my opinion plus some Insurance plans don't pay for it. Just wait till you hear that first squeal and you run in from the other room, Scared to death, and see her/him Smiling like "Did I do that"

+1 I carried both of my boys from the delivery room to the nursery and I can still remember every breath in between steps.

Congratulations to you and your better half.
