Tippo Area
Tippo Area
I am looking at buying some land in Tippo and was wondering if anyone knows any duck history from the Tippo - Paynes area. I will not be hunting it this year so, not to worry, Thanks!
IF THEY SHOW ORANGE, CUT'EM

Tallahatchie and Yalobusha combined with large tracts of bottomland timber equals lots-o-ducks. These areas consistently have water with average rainfall, and they are also along the edge of the delta.
I've always felt that the ducks take two main migratory routes through the Delta. One is along the river, and the other follows the edge of the hills. If you look at the NWR system in Mississippi, you can see the pattern. Mathews Brake, Morgan Brake, Hillside, and Panther Swamp are all within 5 miles of the hills.
Just my opinion based on my years of hunting.
