I fail to see any similarity at all. One group is either disabled and cannot work or lazy and cannot work and expects the government to pay for their food, their transportation, their medical bills, and anything else they want by get a check from the government several times a month. This check from the government is your and my money. It is taxpayer money, and those receiving it should be held to whatever standard the taxpayers would like to hold them to.

The other group is someone that would like to purchase or already owns a firearm, something that is guaranteed in the constitution of this country. This group is using ZERO taxpayer money and are not asking for any form of payment from the government.

No one is speaking out of both sides of their mouths.

It is a great idea to make sure that the taxpayer's money that is being handed out to welfare recipients is not being spent on drugs. What is the problem with that?

Not sure if you realize or not but a hair folicle test is about the same cost as a urine test, probably no more than $50 at the most. Most employers now use hair test.
