Do you own research to check their refrences. I personally use Charlie Moddy outside of Louisiville. He runs AKC Hunt Test and Field Trial. He has done wonders for my two labs. He is very dedicated in his training regiment. He starts at daylight and trains past dark under a mecury light until bed time. I have not heard of a bad review for him in the 7 years I have been involved with Labs. I have also not heard of a bad review for Glenn. I have judged both of their dogs in AKC hunt test and they performed fawlessly. On the other hand I have not heard all good about the others. however, that being said check their refrences for yourself. This is a big investment and you should make the deceision based upon what you find out. I would also recomend going and trianing with them one morning. I would call the night before and show up at first light. If they are not going to train during the week findout why. A trainer that does this part time is not a trainer I would want to spend $400 a month with. just my .02 worth Good luck!

I wasn't going to say anything, but since hunt4food said it first, I will second what he said. I would stay away from Blue Ribbon Kennels.

Birdman, the only peice of advice I can give you on that is that I would not limit myself to only the Jackson area. Good breeders and trainers are where you find them.

Charlie Moody can be reached at 662-779-1474. He is the best I have seen work with my dog in a long time. He gets into their head while training them. I has my dog swiming a 300 yard water blind 10ft from the bank! I thought I would never see my dog do that! His facilities are top notch and he available training ground are to numerous to count. your dog will see birds and different grounds everyday. he also feeds them great eukanuba food. Charlie is the way to go!
